Maliba Reservoir Hydropower Station is a key supporting project of the "Rundian Project" under the national Western Development Program and Yunnan Province's "Double Hundred Project". As a power generation facility supporting a large Type II comprehensive water conservancy hub, it serves multiple vital functions including flood control, irrigation, power generation and water resource allocation. It is of great significance for optimizing regional water resource utilization, easing power supply pressure during dry seasons and boosting the high-quality development of local economy. In this project cooperation, our company undertook the full scope of supply and commissioning of the station’s core electrical control system equipment, mainly including a complete set of key hardware and software such as common control panel, unit control panel, DC panel, generator protection panel, main transformer & line protection panel, DC charging system and power station monitoring background system.
Recently, the supply of electrical equipment and on-site commissioning undertaken by our company for Maliba Hydropower Station have been fully completed. All delivered equipment has successfully passed on-site inspection and verification, all operating parameters meet the requirements, and the project is officially ready for commissioning. It provides core electrical support for the safe, stable and intelligent power generation operation of this key regional comprehensive water conservancy hub project.

In this project cooperation, our company undertook the full scope of supply and commissioning of the station’s core electrical control system equipment, mainly including a complete set of key hardware and software such as common control panel, unit control panel, DC panel, generator protection panel, main transformer & line protection panel, DC charging system and power station monitoring background system.
During project implementation, confronted with numerous challenges including complex on-site operating conditions, high equipment integration, strong system linkage and stringent commissioning accuracy requirements, our technical staff adhered to the construction principles of pursuing excellence and safety priority. In strict compliance with national power industry standards and project design specifications, we efficiently advanced the full range of work including factory acceptance test, transportation coordination, on-site installation guidance, system wiring and commissioning, linkage test and data calibration.
Our team overcame difficulties and pushed forward steadily. We accurately completed individual commissioning of each equipment unit and joint trial operation of the entire system, successfully resolved various technical issues such as equipment compatibility, system interlock and data transmission. It ensures stable performance, reliable operation and precise data of all electrical equipment, which perfectly meets the core requirements of unit operation, line protection and intelligent monitoring of the whole power station.
The successful commissioning of this complete equipment set will comprehensively improve the automatic operation level, safety protection capability and power supply stability of Maliba Hydropower Station. It effectively ensures efficient, safe and intelligent operation and maintenance of the generating units, and enables the power station to give full play to its core functions of peak regulation power supply and comprehensive water resource utilization.
