The 2 x 6300 kW vertical mixed-flow units of the Xuan Minh Hydropower Station in Vietnam, co-constructed by Guangrun Group, have successfully completed commissioning and commenced operation, with a grand grid-connection and power generation celebration held.
Recently, the 2×6300 kW vertical mixed-flow units of the Vietnam Xuanming Hydropower Station, co-constructed by Guangrun Group, successfully completed commissioning and commenced operation. A grand grid-connection celebration was held, marking the hydropower station's full entry into the power generation phase. As an important renewable energy project in Vietnam, the operation of the Xuanming Hydropower Station will effectively enhance the local power supply capacity and promote the development of green energy.
The Vietnam Xuanming Hydropower Station uses highly efficient vertical mixed-flow hydro-generating units, capable of meeting the electricity needs of tens of thousands of households. Simultaneously, it reduces carbon dioxide emissions by tens of thousands of tons annually, assisting Vietnam in optimizing its energy structure and contributing to global green development. Guangrun Group provided the computer monitoring system, protection system, DC system, auxiliary system, public control equipment, and full-process technical support services for this project. The entire system features high stability, full automation, economical power generation, and information-based, modern management. It can adapt to the complex hydrological conditions of the mountainous areas of Vietnam, ensuring the long-term and efficient operation of the power station. This project is also another successful case of Sino-Vietnamese cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, showcasing the full industrial chain capabilities of Chinese enterprises in the hydropower sector, creating job opportunities for local Vietnamese communities, and promoting regional economic development.
